My name is Nina. I received a 3-year training in Hospitality and Catering at CFPF Sorawell from October 2017 to September 2020.

During my training, I learned the various basic techniques in the kitchen, the tricks of the trade in pastry, setting up and serving in restaurants, maintenance and upkeep of the premises in housekeeping, washing techniques, ironing and folding linen, as well as maintaining cleanliness in the department and personal hygiene.


I deepened all this professional knowledge during the various internships that the school found for me in hotels such as the Hilton, the Djeuga and in the application and development centers associated with the school.

In addition to know-how, at Sorawell I learned good manners and life skills, which allowed me to be a good person and a good professional.

With the help of the school, I am now employed at the French Embassy and I really enjoy it.



Jeanne D'Arc


My name is Jeanne-D 'Arc, former learner of the first class of CFPF SORAWELL in the year 2000.

I received at Sorawell a three-year training in Hospitality and Catering giving me the professional qualifications of Hotel Operations Clerk, Polyvalent Hotel Operations Agent and Hotel Operations Technician.


The versatility acquired in the hospitality industry allowed me to work in restaurants (LYSA AND CHRISTOPHER) and hotels (Hilton in Yaoundé).


The training on foreign cuisine allowed me to win the position of Chef at the Embassy of the United States of America. At the Spanish Embassy where I still work today, I was selected after a competition between 300 applicants.

I am very grateful to CFPF SORAWELL which gave me the tools to have a good career in the field of Hospitality and Catering and moreover for all the human values received.

Je m’appelle Edwige Aimée, apprenante au CFPF Sorawell de 2002 à 2005. J’ai beaucoup apprécié mes années de formation, particulièrement l’ambiance de famille et la façon dont nous étions formées. Je me souviens que je recevais toujours des encouragements lorsque j’étais découragée, les monitrices étaient vraiment gentilles.

J’ai reçu à Sorawell la formation professionnelle mais aussi humaine et spirituelle. Cela m’a été d’un très grand apport dans ma vie professionnelle. J’ai connu Dieu à Sorawell et j’ai aussi appris à avoir confiance en moi. Je garde de très bons souvenirs de Sorawell.
