VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTER ACCESSIBLE TO ALL

the  Vocational Training Center for Women (CFPF) Sorawell aims to:

  • Improve the prospects for the future of young women from disadvantaged backgrounds.

  • Provide quality vocational training.

  • Strengthen basic education.

  • Promote professional integration and access to income.

  • Promote a culture of work well done.

  • Encourage an active personal attitude towards the problems and difficulties encountered.

  • Help raise awareness of personal, family and social responsibilities.

  • Do not exclude young women in need from accessing opportunities to acquire the tools for sustainable self-promotion by the impossibility of paying the corresponding training costs.

Sorawell is an initiative of the APF (Association for the Promotion of Women), a Cameroonian non-profit and social association, whose main objective is to contribute to the education and training of young people, and to ensure the social promotion of women through the creation of professional training structures and the organization of activities promoting, among other things, the enhancement of professions directly linked to service to the person.

Sorawell essentially brings together two structures : the Center for Professional Training in Hospitality and Catering (the CFPF) .

A place of intellectual, technical and professional training, Sorawell allows young girls to acquire the know-how and life skills that are essential for both their professional and personal lives. The collaboration between families, teachers and learners/students makes it possible to form solid young people who convey human, social and Christian values such as respect, high standards, dialogue, discipline, work well done, honesty etc The teaching staff and the educational team are at the service of this project in order to promote the success of each one.

Modular training , specialized and refresher courses for young people from other schools and adults are also part of the Sorawell project. For the women and young girls of the district, activities are organized aimed at improving the socio-economic and sanitary standard of living of their families.

The Vocational Training Center for Women Sorawell offers vocational training in Hospitality and Catering, recognized by the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training (MINEFOP) and the Ministry of Tourism and Leisure (MINTOUL).

1.
