CFPF Sorawell has become a reference center for the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training, which seeks to raise the level of quality of vocational education in Cameroon and to support the Government's effort to develop the tourism, in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism.

Our programs are divided as follows:

The CFPF (Professional Training Center in Hospitality and Catering) of Sorawell (long cycle)

• Next school year for the CFPF scheduled for  04 October 2021 at 6:50 a.m.

• The duration of the school career is s is 03 years. This is sanctioned by obtaining a Certificate of Professional Qualification at the end of each year (Diploma recognized by the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training and the Ministry of Tourism and Leisure).

Welcoming home (short cycle)

•   Obtaining a certificate of completion.

We also offer several other training courses (cake decorating, Art of hospitality, Mini-chef competitions, etc.) and workshops for women and young girls .

Each year, CFPF Sorawell proposes several new objectives, including:

​

•   Strengthen the capacities of the educational team through a training seminar led by a qualified education expert. This seminar will also include sessions for mothers who will be able to play a multiplier role with other parents.

• Continue to open doors to motivated young women from disadvantaged backgrounds, which represents a challenge for CFPF Sorawell – precarious academic foundations and insufficient income to pay the real cost of training – but concrete help for the young woman , their family and the country.

Learning Outcomes:

• Respond with great satisfaction to customer expectations by anticipating customer needs and offering professional hotel services*.

• Recognize the various sectors of the Cameroonian tourism industry* and analyze their interdependence.

• Apply their knowledge and skills in human resources, management and leadership to improve their performance as an employee and member of a team and to contribute to the management of a hotel business.

• Apply basic financial knowledge and skills, including cost control and revenue management, to the operation of a hotel business.

• Contribute to the effectiveness of marketing and sales to promote the success of a hotel business.

• Collaborate in maintaining an accommodation and catering business that complies with hygiene, health and safety standards.

• Develop ongoing professional development plans and strategies to enhance management and leadership skills for the benefit of the individual and the hospitality industry.

• Adapt to the diversity and evolution of technologies, systems and IT applications in the hospitality industry.

• Perform effectively as a member of a team assigned to the preparation and service of food and beverages.
