The clove or clove tree is a tree native to the Moluccas Islands in the Indonesian archipelago. The nails are actually flower buds. Green in color then red once ripe, the nails take on their pretty brown color during the drying phase, which takes place in the open air for a month.

Cloves derive all their benefits from their concentration of eugenol, an aromatic compound. Its properties also make it a very good ally in the fight against certain viral diseases.

Antibacterial, cloves can be used to relieve urinary tract infections such as cystitis and kidney stones, or even stomach aches (bloating, aerophagia, gastric genes) and shingles. They would prevent vomiting.

How to use cloves?

It can be used to relieve a painful tooth, by soaking a little essential oil on a cotton swab. You can also choose to chew a few cloves. Chewing this spice is also said to improve breath.

It has long been used as a spice for cooking. It enters into the composition of curry with turmeric. It flavors gingerbread, a stew, mulled wine, soup  ;

It is in infusion that the benefits of cloves are best expressed against digestive disorders. Arrange between 3 and 8 cloves (this spice has a very fragrant and full-bodied taste) in a cup. Boil water and pour over the nails. Leave to infuse for 10 minutes. Filter with a strainer and add a spoon of liquid honey or a pinch of cinnamon to sweeten the preparation.

Drink 3 times a day between meals. In addition to facilitating your digestion, this infusion will help you prevent and fight against the flu and other infectious diseases. In external use, they were used to disinfect and promote the healing of wounds.

It is frequently used as a room fragrance. To do this, simply prick cloves over the entire surface of an orange. This perfume is then called "apple of amber" and in addition, it hunts insects.

1.
